Meta and Instagram Data Deletion

Kraken Social stores Meta and Instagram connection data only to let authorized users connect profiles, publish posts, sync inbox/review activity, and report on connected profile performance.

What Is Deleted

When a deletion request is validated, Kraken Social removes or anonymizes Meta and Instagram access tokens, refresh tokens, external account IDs, profile names, handles, avatar URLs, profile URLs, profile analytics, webhook payloads, inbox/review/listening records tied to the connected Meta profile, and related integration metadata.

How To Request Deletion

In Kraken Social, go to Connections, disconnect the connected Facebook or Instagram profile, or ask your workspace owner/admin to remove the Meta integration. You can also contact Kraken Social support with your workspace name, connected profile name, and the email address used for your account.

Meta may also send Kraken Social a platform data deletion callback. Kraken Social validates that callback with the Meta app secret before processing the request.

Status Checks

If Meta gave you a confirmation code, keep it for your records. You can return to this page with ?confirmation_code=YOUR_CODE to view the same acknowledgement.
